A soft, rosy floral with a touch of fresh citrus.

Our palmarosa essential oil is steam-distilled from the fragrant grass of Cymbopogon martinii. It has a beautifully soft floral aroma with gentle rosy notes, subtle citrus freshness and delicate herbal undertones. It is a lovely middle note for diffuser blends, refined home fragrance and natural perfumery.

Each bottle is made of matte black glass to help protect the oil from light, and comes with a glass pipette dropper for controlled, drop-by-drop use. Choose the 10ml size to try it or the 30ml size for regular use.

How to use

• Diffuser: add 2 to 4 drops to an ultrasonic diffuser in a well-ventilated room, in sessions of 30 to 60 minutes.
• Inhalation: put 1 drop on a tissue and breathe in gently. Keep the tissue away from your skin.
• On the skin: always dilute. Use no more than 2% (about 6 drops per 15ml of carrier oil). 1% (about 3 drops per 15ml) is a good starting point, especially for sensitive skin. Patch test first.

Important safety information

• May cause an allergic skin reaction, as palmarosa contains geraniol. Never apply undiluted, keep skin use to 2% or less (1% for sensitive skin) and patch test first. Avoid broken skin and contact with eyes.
• For external and aromatic use only. Do not swallow.
• Do not use on or near the face of babies or young children. Essential oils can be harmful to pets, particularly cats: ventilate the room, let animals leave freely when diffusing and never apply the oil to them.
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or take prescription medicines, speak to a healthcare professional before use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
