Benzoin Resinoid (Diluted) (Styrax benzoin)

A warm, vanilla-sweet resinoid in an easy-pour dilution.

Our benzoin resinoid is derived from the balsamic resin of the Styrax benzoin tree and offers a deeply sweet, warm and vanilla-like aroma. Because the natural resin is so viscous, it is supplied as a pourable dilution, which makes it far easier to measure and blend. Perfumers value it as a natural fixative, helping lighter citrus and floral scents last longer in a blend.

It comes in a glass bottle with a glass pipette dropper for controlled, drop-by-drop use. Choose the 10ml size to try it or the 30ml size for regular use. The dilution strength is shown on your label, so check it before you blend.

How to use

• Diffuser: add 2 to 3 drops to an ultrasonic diffuser in a well-ventilated room, in short sessions.
• Inhalation: put 1 drop on a tissue and breathe in gently. Keep the tissue away from your skin.
• On the skin: this product is already diluted, so check the strength on your label. Keep skin use to 1% or less of the bottle contents, which is about 2 drops per 10ml of carrier oil. Patch test first.
