Copaiba Essential Oil (Copaifera officinalis)

A smooth, balsamic oil from the Brazilian Amazon.

Our copaiba essential oil comes from the resin of the Copaifera officinalis tree. The aroma is gentle, woody and balsamic with a creamy sweetness, and it adds a smooth, lasting depth to blends as a base note. It is loved for quiet evenings, mindful moments and natural perfumery.

Each bottle is made of matte black glass to help protect the oil from light, and comes with a gold-rimmed glass pipette for controlled, drop-by-drop use. Choose the 10ml size to try it or the 30ml size for regular use.

How to use

• Diffuser: add 3 to 5 drops to an ultrasonic diffuser in a well-ventilated room, in sessions of 30 to 60 minutes.
• Inhalation: put 1 drop in your palms, cup them over your nose and breathe slowly. Wash your hands afterwards.
• On the skin: always dilute. For the body, mix up to 6 drops into 15ml of a carrier oil such as jojoba (2%). For the face, mix 3 drops into 15ml (1%). Never exceed these. Patch test first.

Important safety information

• May cause an allergic skin reaction, especially if your skin reacts to balsams or resins. Use no more than 2% on the body and 1% on the face, patch test first, and avoid broken skin.
• Essential oils can be harmful to pets, particularly cats. Ventilate the room, let animals leave when diffusing, and do not apply the oil to or near them.
• Do not use on or near the face of babies or young children.
• For external and aromatic use only. Do not swallow.
• Never apply undiluted. Avoid contact with eyes.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Aceite esencial de copaiba (Copaifera officinalis), obtenido de la resina del árbol. Aroma suave, amaderado y balsámico, con un toque dulce y cremoso. Disponible en frascos de vidrio negro mate de 10 ml y 30 ml con pipeta de vidrio con borde dorado.
